Museum Of The Word is the accomplishment of the vision granted by the Almighty God to Bro. Dr. Mathews Vergis to showcase the progress of mankind ever since the Almighty God gave the Word written by His own finger to them. The first of its kind in the world, the Museum of the Word, is truly a museum of museums showcasing the impact of the Holy Bible and its heritage, on the history, evolution, and progress of mankind. The Museum Of The Word with its innovative and educational design works to engage audiences of all ages and lead them on a journey across different exhibitions and displays to the world of history, art and culture, and Scripture.
About the Founder
Bro. Dr. Mathews Vergis, the Venerable Servant of God, leads thousands across the globe to experience the Almighty God with healing, deliverance, and the mighty anointing of the Holy Spirit through the life-changing discipline of fasting prayer. Through the manifold gifts and graces attained through fastings and prayers, God is using Brother to minister as an Evangelist, Bible Translator, Missionary, Musician, Philanthropist, Author, and Educator. Bro. Dr. Mathews Vergis is actively supported in his spiritual endeavors by his wife and comrade in arms, Raji. They are blessed with three children and four grandchildren, who are pillars of support in their ministry.
Our Services
Translation of the Bible into the South Indian language of Malayalam – the Visudha Satyavedapusthakam, is one of the greatest works in the history of Bible translations into Indian languages. The Christian Walk Bible is the first study Bible in English or any language, featuring an in-depth study of the discipline of Fasting Prayer commanded by God as an everlasting statute for His people.
Inter-Denominational Fasting Prayer Fellowship is an allied ministry of the Inter-Denominational Christian Fellowship International that aims to promote, prepare, and host fasting prayers across the different parts of the world. The first Inter-Denominational Christ Church was built in New York breaking the barriers of Church affiliations and sectarian dogmas. This church was built and designed by Brother in the eastern style of church architecture.
Bro. Dr. Mathews Vergis has put to use these great advances of the media by starting the first 24/7 ecumenical internet radio in the South Indian language Malayalam.
Bro. Dr. Mathews Vergis with guidance from Holy Spirit has penned down more than 400 praises and prayers in four languages which include Malayalam, Telugu, English.
He is the editor of the Christian Walk Bible, the first and only study Bible in any language with Fasting Prayer as its central theme. He has authored several books on Christian living and biblical principles.
Brother started “Share A Meal ministry” in the streets of Delhi, to give a meal for the poor and needy found on the roads. The ‘Share a Meal’ movement is unique in that, there is no organization, collection of money, or any form of propaganda. It is based on one’s personal sacrifice to share a meal to feed someone poor, helpless, and hungry found on the wayside.
