The Bible Garden

For the Lord comforts Zion; he comforts all her waste places and makes her wilderness like Eden, her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the voice of song. – Isaiah 51:3

Experience a little of that divine comfort at The Museum of the World – truly a centre of wonders. This is a shrine to the unfathomable grace and infinite love of God Almighty. While every exhibit inside the museum makes one remember the Glory of God, there is another wonder outside – the Bible Garden.

Br Mathew Vergis was deeply inspired by the ethereal location where human life began – The Garden of Eden. The Paradise that Adam and Eve lost due to their transgression. And the same Paradise that mankind re-inherited through the Blood of Christ. The Bible Garden, which is full of trees, shrubs and flowering plants, is another testament to God’s Word guiding Br Vergis. The garden leads believers into spiritual joy because it reminds them of the promised return to Paradise – a return to the loving arms of God Almighty.

Even a casual visitor cannot help being intrigued and motivated to meditate on God’s Grand Plan for the salvation of mankind as evidenced in the Holy Bible.

Walking by the garden feels like a journey through Biblical history. The Prophets Walk – with grand statues of Abraham, Moses, David and Solomon – Gethsemane, The Way of The Cross and Calvary are aligned with the garden perfectly. It’s structured to represent the spiritual journey of all Christians. The garden that represents Paradise, the prophets who paved the way for the arrival of our Lord Jesus Christ, His suffering and ultimate sacrifice that reclaimed humanity from damnation.

This visionary exhibit created by Br Vergis under the guidance of the Holy Spirit offers a truly blessed experience for all. Thank you God for empowering him with such spiritual foresight.
