Tomb of Jesus

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
– Romans 6:8-11.

In death, He validated the promise to the Father. By breaking open the tomb and resurrecting Him, our Heavenly Father sealed the promise of eternal life to everyone who believes in His son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The tomb where Jesus was buried is a Holy site for believers across the world. It’s not a symbol of death, but a reminder that every believer will be resurrected in body and spirit on Judgment Day following which they will enjoy life everlasting.

The museum is a shrine that celebrates the Word of God and everything that was manifested through His Word. The Tomb of Jesus exhibit at the Museum of the World is another testament to how the Lord uses Br Mathew Vergis as a vital instrument in His grand vision for mankind. Br Vergis’ vision resonates the words of St Paul. The exhibit of the Tomb of Jesus reminds us that “Christ was raised from the dead” and that “…he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God”. The Tomb also reminds Christians that they are also “dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.”

Such a powerful and sublime vision can only come from the Holy Spirit. And the Tomb of Jesus exhibit renews the hope of salvation in every visiting Christian.
